Gary Eichenberger, PT, DPT

Gary began his physical therapy studies at Waldorf Community College, where he studied for two years while playing football. He then transferred to Iowa State University to complete his B.S. in Human Health and Performance, with a minor in Psychology. In 2010, Gary earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University, and has been a licensed physical therapist practicing in the Kansas City Metro area ever since.

The majority of Gary’s work experience has been in private outpatient therapy clinics, but he also has involvement with home health agencies and nursing homes. In addition to working in multiple health settings, Gary has worked with patients of all ages and with a wide range of injuries such as: general orthopedics, sport-specific rehabilitation/performance training, pre and post surgical conditions, neurological conditions, and many more.

Gary has a passion to guide and assist client pain relief, and strives for maximum functionality in everyday life. He places his patients at an optimal level of success; because he believes that treating individuals with a combination of hands on therapy, proper exercise, and education is the fastest way to recovery.

Gary was raised in Lakota, Iowa, a small town on the northern border of the state.

Liz Eichenberger

Liz graduated from Kansas City Community College as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant in 2011, and has been practicing in the Kansas City metro ever since.

Her work experience includes treating individuals in private outpatient PT clinics, home health agencies, and nursing homes. Therefore, she is has an understanding of all age groups, and experience with a wide range of everyday functionality. Her therapy involvement includes general orthopedic issues, sport-specific rehabilitation, pre/post surgical conditions, neurological conditions, vestibular rehabilitation, and much more.

Liz’s passion lies in helping patients return to the many aspects of their everyday life; whether that objective is working, parenting, or a specific activity, her priority is maximum comfort and functionality.

Liz was raised in Sedan, Kansas and grew up being involved in sports, FFA, 4H and many other activities.

Gary and Liz live in the Liberty area with their French Mastiff, Hazel Both enjoy being active in recreational leagues, traveling, attending Iowa State athletics, and spending time with their family and friends whenever possible.

Beau

Gary and Liz rescued Beau in 2023. He loves greeting everyone when they come in and offering extra support when needed.  He is a St Bernard-Poodle mix. If you are uncomfortable with dogs please let us know. We can put him in the breakroom while you are here.

Jordan Throckmorton

Jordan ran cross country and track for four years at Pittsburg State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2019. Her experience as a collegiate athlete helped shape her passion for health, movement, and helping others stay active. She continued her education at Southwest Baptist University, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022.

Jordan works with individuals experiencing orthopedic conditions, including pain, injuries, and movement limitations that impact their daily lives, work, and physical activity. She also has a special passion for women’s pelvic health, supporting women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, empowering women to return to the activities they love most.

Jordan lives in the Liberty area with her husband, Austin, their daughter, and mini Aussie. In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, camping, exploring new National Parks, watching Chiefs football, and playing card and board games with friends and family.

Ben Boecklen

DPT at Complete PT since January of 2023

Ben is originally from New Mexico. Growing up in Las Cruces and attending undergrad at New Mexico State University. He first moved to Missouri in 2016 to attend PT school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he met his future wife. They graduated from Mizzou in May 2019, and moved to Kansas City. Ben has been a physical therapist with complete PT since January 2023, and working in outpatient orthopedics since graduating from Mizzou. His hobbies include skiing, playing with his border collie/cocker spaniel mix Meelo, and watching soccer and football.

Michael Young

Michael Young is a physical therapist who enjoys helping people return to the activities they love—whether that’s running, lifting weights, playing sports, keeping up with family, or simply moving without pain. As a runner and lifelong athlete, he understands the frustration of injuries and the importance of getting back safely and confidently.

Michael earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with additional certification in dry needling. He enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in runners and active individuals.

Outside the clinic, Michael enjoys running, strength training, soccer, hiking, playing the drums, and spending time with his wife, Kara, and their dog, Milo.

Jake Masuch

Jake is from Independence, Mo. and has spent most of his life in the greater KC area. He attended the University of Kansas (rock chalk) where he earned his bachelors degree in exercise science before earning his DPT at Rockhurst University in 2023.

His first year out of school was spent traveling and working in different physical therapy settings around the country, where he garnered experience treating various patient populations from post-stroke to athletes looking to return to sport.

Jake prides himself on treating the whole person, and is always open to lend an ear when things get tough, believing that the mental side of PT is just as important as the physical side.

In his free time Jake enjoys hiking, music, golfing, and watching the Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals.

Megan Jones

Megan earned her undergraduate degree from Missouri State University before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at South College. She is certified in dry needling and has specialized training in pelvic floor physical therapy, allowing her to treat a wide variety of orthopedic and pelvic health conditions. Megan enjoys working with patients across all stages of recovery and is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they love through personalized, evidence-based care.

Outside of the clinic, Megan enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband, Ian, and their golden doodle, Teddy. They love being outdoors, staying active, and spending quality time with friends and both of their families. Megan’s long-term goal is to continue growing as a clinician and eventually become a professor to help educate and mentor future physical therapists.

Sharon Fleming

Education- Rockhurst University, MSPT, 1999

Mother to two kiddos- Isabella, 22; Colton, 14

Hobbies- Runner, triathlete, sports mom

Specialties- running specialist, owner, coach at Endurance Running PT and

Performance Coaching, cash-based practice inside of Complete PT. Clinical experience- skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, long-term acute care, home health.

Riley Whitcomb

Riley is originally from Burlington, IA. She completed undergrad at Iowa State University and earned her DPT from Briar Cliff University in 2023. Her clinical experience includes general orthopedics, neurological rehab, vestibular rehab and inpatient. She is certified in dry needling and SASTM. Riley lives in Liberty with her husband Nick and son Reed. She enjoys going to the gym, watching sports with her husband, spending time with her family, baking, admiring her houseplants and watching true crime documentaries.

Jennifer Thornton

Jennifer’s dedication to providing exceptional customer service stems from her genuine passion for helping others. Whether it’s scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, or assisting with administrative tasks, she handles each responsibility with efficiency and care.

Jennifer grew up in Gladstone. After graduating from Oak Park HS and UMKC in the early 1990’s she was a massage therapist until retiring to raise kids. While helping her kids grow she became a Certified Handwriting Specialist through Handwriting Without Tears. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys painting and drawing, spending time with her husband Ken and kids Michael and Brooke.
